To get the time and the mojo together is sooo difficult!!! If I get the time my mojo is no where to be seen and when I have my mojo I don't have the time!!! I don't think I could scrap anymore without sketches to start me off.
Your sketch #14 and layout are fantastic, will have to try that one!

Oh I so hear you. No time, no energy, no mojo. Working full time and running my family of 3 children (aged between almost 3 and 7) and my fourth child (aged 42 years!lol) takes care of any "spare" time I have.
I usually start with sketches or a challenge and go from there.
I think your LOs are *fab* and when I get the chance, have every intention of scraplifting them ;)

Hi dearest Helen, so retirements being good to me... lots of scrappy time and haven't any mojo trouble.. at least not yet... your sketches are inspiration enough for anyone.. I use them all the time .. keep my files handy. You were my first DT for sketches and I find myself coming back to see what your up to all the time.. beautiful layouts with too cute photos. Soooooo not just you! Homeschooling is draining of creativity. When I was doing it every ounce of my creative energy went into designing exciting memorable lessons. Perhaps I should have opted for a packaged curriculum! Which curriculum are you using? Kids are only kids for a while, scrapping will always be there;)

Right now I have two major problems.

1. Lots of inspiration and no time

2. Lots of inspiration and the inability to find the embellies I need to make my vision a reality. I am really getting annoyed that I can't find what I want anywhere and don't want to just leave it til I get it.

Hubby suggests having a box of unfinished items and a list of what I want to finish them off on top to take everytime I go shopping. I'm not yet convinced!

I am definately lacking time, but I signed up for the Mother LOAD (layout a day) at Big Picture Classes, and so even though this is my absolute busiest time of year, I have managed to complete 11 layouts so far in September. I find that it helps to relieve stress to scrap a little every day even when I am super busy (as long as I don't let LOAD add to my stress!).

I lack the time too. I also have the problem of thinking I might have the time, getting interupted and then trying to remember what I was doing weeks later...
But tht just means I get a more thought out, well put together layout, right? ;)
