Thank you to all of you that added Scrap A Little as a friend on Facebook!
I just want to clarify something; Facebook is not at all a requirement. If you don't like Facebook that's perfectly fine.
I just thought it would be a great way for me to interact with all of you.
If you don't have FB and read my blog you will not miss anything. I promise!
I also want to say thanks for all your sweet comments! It really makes my day and warms my heart. I have too many days when I don't think I'm any good at all:( So when I read your nice words I'm thinking; if all these people think I'm that great, I can't be all that bad, can I? So again, thank you!

I drew a random winner for the latest giveaway that you can see here. And the winner turned out to be;
Dawn Montagano. Congrats to Dawn!!

Yesterday, I had my scrappy friends over and we worked on the Basic Grey kits. I made these two layouts:
Don't you just love those old photos. It's my mom in 1966 and me and mom in 1967.
And guess what? I have an extra kit leftover so I thought one lucky reader could win it.
If you want to have a chance to win this gorgeous page kit from Basic Grey, all you have to do is leave a comment on this post. And please tell me what photos you would use.
Me and my friends all ended up scrapping old photos, because it works so well with the colors.
So if you had this kit, tell me what photos you would scrap.

I have some old photos of my great Aunt and Grandmother when they were in there early 20's. I think this paper would go great with those shots of them.
I will most likely go with some old photos of my mom also.

I would defnitely use these for my daughter. I love these shabby pages for my own album, and it's so hard for me to find anything like this around me. They're gorgeous. I love your layouts too. Your photos pick up the colors in the paper. You have a great eye. I'd love for you to look at my layouts too, if you have time :) http://www.SweetlyScrappedArt.blogspot.com It would be cool to hear what you have to say :)
I've got 4 of my Mom's photo albums to scrap and I'm thinking some pics of her and her siblings when they were younger would be perfect for this kit! Thanks for sharing!
I love what you did with those. Great idea to use old photos. I have some pictures of my mom and dad in younger years that I would use.
I love your layouts! I've got many photos of my parents and families, so if I were to win this, I'd use it for them. Again, your layouts are beautiful...TFS!

Love, love those layouts and of course the papers are fantastic. I can tell you they are perfect for older pictures, and I have pictures of my mom and dad in their early 20's and I am in my mid 60's so they are old pics and in great shape, they are also in a sepia tone which I think would match perfectly with these papers.
I cannot say enough about how I love your layouts and both you and mom are absolutely beautiful.....
Oh, how pretty (your layout) and the BG stuff. I would use old pictures of my family or my twin sister and me! Thanks for a chance to win!
Wow. I love your layouts and I would love to win the kit! I realized that I have scrapped lots and lots of other people, but rarely myself. I would like to scrap by confirmation photo and the one from my baptism!
I have some photos of my youngest granddaughter as an infant that I haven't scrapped that I think would be perfect for this kit. Your layouts are so pretty...the photos are beautiful!
Thanks for this awesome giveaway! I would use pictures of my grandmother from the late 50's- early 60's for her tribute album. She passed away in 2002 and I was given tons of old photos of her since I was close to her.
I would scrap family pictures from my childhood!!!
My Mom recently made copies of old pics (don't you sort of hate to use "old" and then relate it to yourself?!)of me and my brothers, ones she did not scrap....I would use some of those!
I would use some special pictures of my grandparents with me. They raised me most of my life and now they are both gone and I would love to show my grandchildren two wonderful people who helped mold my life. Thanks for a change to win.

These are beautiful papers. Wish I knew how to colorize black & white photos. All my childhood photos are b&w and I hate them. Would love to see them in color.
I would use these papers to scrap my 4 1/2 yr old granddaughter, my 4 yr old neice and 3 yr old great neice. They have lots of matching outfits and these papers would be great for these girls.
Wow, such great layouts. This would definately inspire me to scrap some of my older photos as the paper works so well with them.

These Basic Grey papers are beautiful, and I would use photos of my Mom, Mom-in-Law and myself at an awards banquet when I received the 1997 "Women Helping Women: Making a Difference for Women" Award from Soroptimist International, in Anaheim, CA. It was a special day, and I was delighted to share it with both of my Moms!
oooh these papers are so pretty, I would scrap some vintage photos, or maybe some b&w of my daughter. Your pages are great I love the vintage photos, theres just something about that time period. I love it.
I have some pictures of iris blooming in my yard that would look quite lovely with this paper. I try to go to our local iris society plant sale every year and buy a couple of new species. Some of the people in this group actually hybridize their stock and come up with new varieties themselves so I have several different colors and bloom shapes.
I would use pictures of my Mom with the sweet memories kit. She was a gardener right up until the day she dies at 94 years old. Roses were her favourites. I miss her very much and this lovely paper would do her justice.
my gramma just sent me a bunch of family photos of my dad when he was a boy/teenager. he past away when me and my sister were very young so it is special when someone sends those types of photos.so, i would use thoughs b/c the paper looks vintage:)

I would scrap pictures of my mom, especially the ones when she would dress up for going out to dinner. We have a lot of pictures of her like that, dressed perfectly and posed for the camera.
