A new challenge is posted over at All About Me.
This will be my last layout I do for the AAM design team:(
I had the opportunity to continue another term, but I actually turned it down. I think I need a break from scrapping myself. Imagine that.
Now I' have absolutely no other (scrap) obligations than to myself and my blog.
I'm, so grateful to Melissa for accepting me for her first design team. I learned so much and made great new friends. I know for sure I will continue to follow her blog and participate in the challenges now and then. Maybe she will even ask me to guest design some time (hint,hint)
This weeks challenge is called "the year I was born"
Very revealing indeed. Mine is called- a chocking- 1967;)
Journaling sais;
this is the year when Elvis marries Priscilla,
when the Vietnam war is still going on
when the Beatles release Penny Lane
and when Sweden starts driving on the right side,
but most importantly
this was the year I was born.
I based the layout on my sketch # 18;
I used chalk for all the egdes. I like chalk, because it gives a more subtle look than ink. It's barely there, but still gives dimension to the layout.

I handcut the flowers from my old SEI paper ("Aunt Gerti's Garden") and doodled and chalked all the edges.
Be brave and join the challenge and reveal your age if you'd like. Click here to go to AAM.
