Wow, it's gonna take a while for me to get use to the new look on my blog...it feels so weird..oh well...all I can do is blog away. I needed to change my blog template for several reasons. First of all I wanted something that I MADE myself. The other one was a pre made blog template and the lady who made it had copyrights for the bird. Meaning, I could not print out business cards with it, and I do need some.
Then I needed more space on the sides of the blog posts. The blog template before had what they call two columns and this has three. The reason I need more space, will be revealed soon;)
I still have some minor things to fix..or I should say- my sister has to fix ( I don't do HTML). Like, the links has the same color as the rest of the text, so you can't really see them.
ANYWHOOO...I made some new sketches and I upgraded from sharpie pens to Words. I still have lots to learn so please don't inspect them too much. But at least they look a lot better than the earlier ones.

This sketch looks super basic
but I like how this layout looks.
This last one I made without any layout in mind...so I guess I should try it...
As you can see they are all very simple, but that's the way I like it and of course you can add as much embellishments as you wish.

I love the new look! I also love these sketches! As soon as I read this post I thought "I have to use all of these!" Now I'm looking for pics so I can actually make one! Thanks for the inspiration!
hi Helen, I really like the "new look" did u sketch it urself? I love to sketch is why I'am asking and love the flowers and little characters.
and I really love the sketches and LO's. the fact that they are "simple" is what I like.when I say simple, I mean clean looking and yet so creative, does that make sense!!

Wow, Helen, it is like you knew just what I needed today. I am in needed of sketches and you delivered. I have never used a sketch before but just found out I need to create 18 LOs in the next few weeks for my daughters' cheering squad. Helen, your new topper and look to your blog is just awesome. That topper is just so precious and cute.... just like you! Just screams cuteness! I so love all these lo's as well as the sketches! I so am going to use one I have two challenges over at SB.com to do for the only thread I hand on, so why not incorporate your sketchs and some lovely BG and play along, just need to carve out some time to do so!!
