Make your own patterned paper

I don't know if you all of my all time favorite scrapbook manufacturer is going out of business-SCENIC ROUTE!!
How can this happen? Scenic Route is pure awesomeness!

Anyways... they are having a liquidation sale now. I have already done my share of shopping there. If you like Scenic Route...hurry over to When the stuff is's gone forever:(

Have you ever been to a blog hop?
They have one over at with lots of different challenge blogs participating.
I had no idea there was so many challenge blogs out there. So much inspiration! Join the fun for lots of prizes to win. The blog hop is going on for a week.

Here's a layout I just finished. I used some yummy June Bug from Basic Grey.
The paper you see behind the photo, the one with red roses...I made that myself...

Oh well, it wasn't so hard really. It's actually fabric from my curtains here in my scrap room.

I just took the fabric and put it in the scanner. I adjusted the colors a bit in Photoshop, but that's not necessary. If you don't have a scanner you can just use a copy machine. Be sure to use a heavier paper and not some flimsy printer paper.
Imagine if you had a 12 x 12 printer you could start mass producing unique patterned paper.
I wish:)

Another beautiful LO, Helen. I love what you did with the photo and the fact that you made your own paper--it is beautiful and works perfectly with the other June Bug papers and flowers.
